Brisk, Invigorating, Refreshing, but Never Cold
I went out diving in Lake Michigan a few weeks ago and was able to snap a few pictures.
There were patches of ice on the lake still, but the surface was pretty calm due to the thin sheet of ice.
The chunks of ice floated like clouds above us.
This is the deck of the Milwaukee Car Ferry. She sank in 1929 in 130' of freshwater. My temperature gauge reads 31f! The diver in the foreground is looking at some car parts. The steering wheel is illuminated.
